"Art comes from the heart, wisdom and knowledge"

The Hollywood "system" has created paradigms that are destroying cinema. Take the role of the main character, sometimes called the "hero". There is a need to make them right, good or have the moral high ground. America even does this with its presidents. It always has to give its "figures" the moral high ground (a priestly persona). This need stops the audience from understanding those characters and their situation more deeply. It is one symptom of lies out-shadowing (replacing) truth and the dumbing down of the art of CINEMA.

With the rise of cheaper film production and the fall of the old "way" of making movies, hopefully we can reject Hollywood and the dumbing down on our ability to tell stories! Hopefully we can restore the language of story through the art of image and sound. As a cinematographer I want to do my bit by restoring it in my work! The language of cinema!
