Leo Mumford is a cinematographer, with feature film, short film, music video and commercial film experience. His two recent features were "The Novelist", which found it's way into the ICA and "Broken Inside", which is due for release later this year.

ABOUT...

Leo is self taught and has worked alongside award winning DOPS, some from the NFTS, LFS and LFA. As a cinematographer He's well versed with most film and digital formats and many lighting systems/units.

How Leo works...

Leo works well under pressure and enjoys both the art of cinematography and the problem solving aspect of it. He's able to make quick decisions and work fast onset and achieve a high production quality.

Cinematography is a story telling tool. It helps you understand the story and also provides an emotional hook into the story, drawing the viewer in emotionally. (Bad cinematography does the opposite.)

I enjoy working on new projects, with new challenges and am very happy while working on set. I enjoy my job and get along well with my crew.
